All matches announced for WWE x AAA Noche de Los Grandes so far

The special is announced for May 30.

During the 2026 edition of Rey de Reyes in March, AAA announced Noche de Los Grandes. The event is scheduled to emanate on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. 

Additionally, it will not be a Premium Live Event, but it will air as a special episode of Lucha Libre AAA, the weekly show on Saturday.

During the May 23 edition of AAA on Fox, the promotion revealed that Noche de Los Grandes will air as a two-week event, on May 30 and June 6, 2026.

The event is going to feature stars from both AAA and WWE‘s main roster. For Latin American fans, the show will stream on Fox Latin America, while fans everywhere else can watch it on WWE and Lucha Libre’s official YouTube and Facebook channels.

A mask vs mask match to decide it all

One of the first matches announced for the show is mask vs mask between El Grande Americano and “Original” El Grande Americano. Both claim to be the real El Grande, and the issue took center stage since the Original El Grande’s return at the Royal Rumble.

There were earlier rumors of the match taking place at WrestleMania 42. However, later reports confirmed that it will instead take place at an AAA event.

The match materialized during the recent April 11 weekly edition of Lucha Libre, after a brawl between the two, when the Real El Grande challenged the OG to a mask vs mask match.

The Undertaker, who is currently in charge of AAA creative, then made the match official via his X (Twitter) handle. Both men have now signed the contract, making the match official as they prepare for the showdown on May 30.

On the other hand, the AAA Latin American Champion, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., will defend the title on the line against EL Hijo del Vikingo. The match was announced by the manager of the El Ojo stable, Dorian Roldán, during the May 2 edition of  Lucha Libre AAA.

During the May 16 edition of AAA on Fox, the promotion announced two more matches for the upcoming event. AAA World Tag Team Champions Pagano and Psycho Clown will defend the strap against WWE’s War Raiders (Erik & Ivar).

A six-woman tag team bout has also been confirmed for the May 30 event, with former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley joining forces with NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice and La Catalina to take on Las Toxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra & Maravilla). This match will take place in week two of the special, while Laredo Kid will take on Rey Fenix in a rematch on week one.

Kid’s AAA World Cruiserweight title will be on the line; the rematch was announced by the new GM Rey Mysterio after Kid cheated out of his way in their first clash, where the title was on the line.

Week Two (June 6)

• La Catalina, Lola Vice & Bayley vs  Las Toxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra & Maravilla) – Six-woman tag team match (Lucha de Relevos Australianos)
