All confirmed matches for WWE New Year’s Evil 2025
- Trick Williams (c) vs Oba Femi vs Eddy Thorpe – NXT Championship
- Roxanne Perez (c) vs Giulia – NXT Women’s Championship
- 1 Contender’s Match for NXT Women’s North American Championship: Cora Jade vs Stephanie Vaquer vs Lola Vice vs Kelani Jordan

Trick Williams (c) vs Oba Femi vs Eddy Thorpe – NXT Championship
NXT Champion Trick Williams will defend his title in a triple-threat match against Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe. Oba Femi earned the title shot against the champion due to his Iron Survivor Challenge win at NXT Deadline 2024.
Due to the controversial ending of the Williams vs Thorpe match in the main event of the December 17th episode of NXT, the match next month was changed into a triple threat action on the 12/24 show.
Roxanne Perez (c) vs Giulia – NXT Women’s Championship
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez is scheduled to defend her title against Giulia at the Shrine Expo Hall. Similar to Oba Femi, Giulia became the #1 Contender for the title with her win in the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match.
At NXT Deadline 2024, Giulia emerged victorious in a competitive match against Sol Ruca, Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, and Wren Sinclair on December 7.
No 1 Contender’s Match for NXT Women’s North American Championship: Cora Jade vs Stephanie Vaquer vs Lola Vice vs Kelani Jordan
Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer, Lola Vice, and Kelani Jordan will face off for the right to challenge Fallon Henley for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
Jordan’s recent character growth makes this a fascinating match-up. She is feuding with Cora Jade, but she is also not very fond of Vaquer and Vice right now.
Sudden Death Rules match for NXT Heritage Cup: Lexis King (c) vs Charlie Dempsey
As revealed on WWE NXT’s December 31 program, Lexis King will defend the NXT Heritage Cup against Charlie Dempsey. King defeated Dempsey to win the Heritage Cup in the December 24 show. On January 7, they will face off again. The match will be contested under Sudden Death rules.
Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx) vs Gigi Dolin, Shotzi & Tatum Paxley
Fallon Henley and Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne) have caused havoc for the NXT roster’s female wrestlers. Shotzi startled everyone when she returned some weeks ago to assist Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin in eliminating Fatal Influence. The babyface trio now has the opportunity to put an end to the heel faction, as a six-woman tag team has been announced for New Year’s Evil.
