Three matches have been announced for the show so far
WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 is shaping up to be a must-watch event, and the January 28 edition of NXT confirmed three huge title matches for the show. With over two weeks to go, more matches could be added, but the championship bouts already announced promise high-stakes action.
This will be the 13th Vengeance Day in WWE history and the fifth under the NXT banner. What makes the 2025 edition even more special is that it will be the first NXT event to stream live on Netflix, with Peacock carrying the show in the U.S. WWE NXT Vengeance will be aired live on February 15th from Washington, DC.
The main event sees Oba Femi defending the NXT Championship against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in a triple threat match. Theory and Waller despite both being members of The A-Town Down Under will face themselves in a jiff for the NXT Championship. Could we see Austin Theory turning on Waller?
The NXT Women’s Championship will also be in a triple-threat match featuring Giulia, Bayley and Roxanne Perez. Giulia’s arrival in NXT sent shockwaves through the women’s division and now she has the chance to make history. However, she faces two former champions Bayley and Perez, who are determined to reclaim the gold.
Fallon Henley takes on Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. With the championship still in its early days, both women have the opportunity to make a lasting impression.
With these matches set, the road to Vengeance Day is heating up. Expect more matches and surprises as NXT builds toward its historic first live event on Netflix!
Je’Von Evans plans to compete at WWE NXT Vengeance Day if he is cleared to do so. Ethan Page had previously assaulted Evans on the December 17th broadcast of WWE NXT.
After the incident, Evans’ jaw was wired shut. On the January 14th show of NXT, Evans attempted to defend Dante Chen from Page, but Page bloodied him once more. On the January 21st show, Ava revealed that Evans was still not cleared to compete.
Ava chatted with Evans and Page backstage on the February 4th broadcast of WWE NXT. She originally stated that Evans was suspended because he broke her directions by turning there when he had not been vetted. Page suggested that Ava punish him instead by scheduling them in a bout. Ava then revealed that Evans will meet Page at NXT Vengeance Day if he was cleared to compete.
