WWE takes over Minneapolis for SummerSlam.
WWE is all set to take over Minneapolis this weekend for the 2026 edition of SummerSlam. The 39th edition will air as a two-night spectacle on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The show will mark WWE’s first-ever stadium event in Minneapolis and the city’s second SummerSlam, following the 1999 edition at Target Center.
Night 1 of the PLE features two marquee title showdowns involving CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky.
Meanwhile, the trilogy bout between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi is also slated for Night 1, and so is Nick Aldis’ WWE in-ring debut against Gunther.
On the other hand, Night 2 features the showdown between former Shield brothers Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, while multiple stars battle in a ladder match to become the Interim WWE Women’s Champion in Rhea Ripley’s absence.
The PLE will air at 6 PM ET on ESPN in the United States and on Netflix internationally (excluding select markets).
