Money in the Bank 2025 will go live from Los Angeles
WWE Money in the Bank 2025 will be the 16th annual MITB event, taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event will include wrestlers from the promotion’s Raw and SmackDown brand divisions, making it the first Money in the Bank to be televised on Netflix.
The event is centred on the Money in the Bank ladder match, a multi-person ladder match in which competitors fight to earn a contract that provides the respective men’s and women’s winners a championship match of their choice at any time during the next year.
This event will also be John Cena’s final Money in the Bank appearance as an in-ring performer before he retires from professional wrestling at the end of 2025.
Qualifying contests for the women’s MITB ladder match began on the May 16 episode of SmackDown, with Alexa Bliss defeating Chelsea Green and Michin in a three-way match.
The next two qualifying bouts, both triple threats, took place on the May 19 episode of Raw, with Roxanne Perez defeating Becky Lynch and Natalya, and Rhea Ripley defeating Kairi Sane and Zoey Stark.
Roxanne Perez is officially set to debut in the high-stakes Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The rising WWE star has secured her spot in the match for the very first time, marking a major milestone in her young career.
Perez now joins former Money in the Bank winner Alexa Bliss and former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley as the first three competitors confirmed for the bout. With more names yet to be added, the field is already shaping up to be one of the most competitive in recent history.
Giulia defeated Charlotte Flair and Women’s United States Champion Zelina Vega in her SmackDown debut to qualify for the women’s MITB ladder match on the 05/23 show of SmackDown.
In the fifth qualifying match, Naomi defeated Nia Jax and Jade Cargill to secure the fifth spot on the May 30 episode of SmackDown.
After joining the Monday Night Raw roster, Stephanie Vaquer battled against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile in the final women’s MITB Qualifying match. Vaquer triumphed against the veterans, pinning Nile after landing SVB to secure the final spot on the June 2 episode of Raw.
