All superstars confirmed for WWE SmackDown tonight (January 23, 2026): AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss & more

The SNME go-home show will feature an appearance from AJ Styles.
Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The episode will serve as the go-home show for the first edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in 2026.
SmackDown will resume its regular time slot for international viewers until the next episode broadcasts from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
WWE has confirmed several matches, including a triple-threat bout to determine the No. 1 contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championship and a tag team clash for the WWE Tag Team titles.
The team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Giulia and Kiana James, and Nia Jax and Lash Legend will face off in a triple-threat #1 Contender’s match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
The match was announced following last week’s brawl, where Jax and Legend interfered in the tag team match between Charlexa and Giulia & James.
On the other hand, WWE Tag Team Champions, Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis), are set to defend the titles after being unable to counter Solo Sikoa and his MFT. The two factions battling for control will collide in a tag team match, with the tag titles on the line.
Furthermore, Damian Priest will take on Trick Williams in a singles match, just one night ahead of their showdown in the Fatal Four-Way for the No. 1 contender spot for the Undisputed Championship. The show will also feature a singles bout between Nathan Frazer and Johnny Gargano.
Additionally, ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles, who will risk his career against Gunther at the Royal Rumble PLE, has been invited by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to appear on the show. Styles has confirmed he will be joining SmackDown live this Friday.
