The May 15 edition of SmackDown will emanate from South Carolina.

Live from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, tonight’s May 15 edition of Friday Night SmackDown will address the fallout from the 2026 edition of Backlash, which concluded last week in Tampa, Florida.

That said, WWE has a busy schedule for the next two weeks with the May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and the next PLE after Backlash, which is Clash in Italy set for May 31 in Turin, Italy.

The promotion has announced two matches for SNME on this Monday’s Raw and will likely announce more matches for the show on tonight’s SmackDown.

Speaking of match announcements, after Paul Heyman revealed that the favor Gunther requested was a title shot against Cody Rhodes at Clash in Italy, fans are now waiting to see what unfolds tonight and whether WWE officially confirms the match.

Regarding the card for the May 15 edition of the Blue brand, as of the writing of this article, WWE has not yet announced any matches or segments.
