Money in the Bank 2025 will go live from Los Angeles

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 will be the 16th annual MITB event, taking place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

The pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event will include wrestlers from the promotion’s Raw and SmackDown brand divisions, making it the first Money in the Bank to be televised on Netflix.

The event is centered on the Money in the Bank ladder match, a multi-person ladder match in which competitors fight to earn a contract that provides the respective men’s and women’s winners a championship match of their choice at any time during the next year.

This event will also be John Cena’s final Money in the Bank appearance as an in-ring performer before he retires from professional wrestling at the end of 2025.

The road to the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match officially kicked off on the May 16 episode of SmackDown, as Solo Sikoa emerged victorious in a triple threat qualifier against Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix.

With that win, Sikoa became the first Superstar to qualify for the high-risk, career-changing bout. The qualifying action continued on SmackDown, where another triple-threat match took place featuring Aleister Black, LA Knight, and Shinsuke Nakamura battling for the second spot.

With WWE Money in the Bank fast approaching on June 7, the qualifying matches for both the men’s and women’s ladder bouts were officially underway.

In the first men’s qualifier, Jimmy Uso, Rey Fenix, and Solo Sikoa faced off in a high-stakes triple threat match. Outside interference from Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo (Jeff Cobb), who provided support for Fatu’s Bloodline ally, ultimately helped Sikoa secure the victory.

In the second MITB Qualifiers on the 05/23 episode of SmackDown, Aleister Black, LA Knight, and Shinsuke Nakamura locked horns for the second spot. LA Knight picked up the win in the clash as he capitalized on Black taking out Nakamura with the black mass to get the pin and secure his spot.

On the May 26 show of Monday Night Raw, Penta defeated Chad Gable and Dragon Lee in an amazing match to qualify for the ladder match and secure the third spot.

In the main event of the same show, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn locked horns in the fourth triple-threat qualifying match, where capitalizing on interferences, Rollins landed a stomp on Balor right on the steel steps to pick up the win and secure the fourth spot.

Andrade picked up the win in the fifth qualifying match, defeating Jacob Fatu and Carmelo Hayes on the May 30 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

In the final qualifying match, CM Punk, AJ Styles and El Grande Americano locked horns on the June 02 episode of Monday Night Raw. El Grande Americano picked up the win in the match to secure the third spot all thanks to the interference from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
