WWE has only booked a handful of matches with Bash in Berlin, which is only a week away.

The global giant of professional wrestling, WWE, has been on a hot streak to produce some of the biggest and most successful Premium Live Events since WrestleMania 40.

The latest success followed at WWE’s Biggest Party of the Summer, SummerSlam, which took place in Cleveland, Ohio.

WWE is next heading towards Berlin, Germany, to continue the series of PLEs with a new event, Bash in Berlin, taking place on Saturday, August 31, at the Uber Arena.

After decades, WWE is returning to Germany for a major event that will surely go down as a blockbuster show for the company.

With the event only a week away, WWE has announced four major showdowns for the card so far. The new World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther is scheduled for his first title defence.

However, his opponent is the 14-time World Champion Randy Orton, setting up their rematch after their last bout at WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE ended in controversy.

Switching to its SmackDown counterpart, the Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line as Cody Rhodes will defend his title against his hand-picked opponent, Kevin Owens at WWE Bash in Berlin 2024.

Elsewhere, the implosion of Judgment Day that took center stage at SummerSlam will see the new resident couple on RAW, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, battle against the Terror Twins, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, in a mixed tag team match.

Lastly, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will collide in a rematch from SummerSlam after McIntyre defeated The Best in the World. However, this time, they will battle in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin.

Is adding fewer matches to the WWE Bash in Berlin a mistake?

This week’s edition of SmackDown showed the rich history of WWE’s relationship with Germany during the golden age of wrestling, which included hosting their flagship show, Monday Night RAW, once in the 1990s.

Moreover, with only a week left for the event, the likeliness of adding multiple matches does not look on the horizon. WWE has been producing a stacked match card for all its major International shows since WrestleMania 40.

Moreover, with the company going international again, booking fewer matches could be a mistake for the German audience, who probably had been waiting for WWE to come to their country. However, with a week still left, WWE could turn the tables and possibly add more matches to the card.
