Austin Theory is one of the youngest WWE stars who is considered the future of WWE. The 26-year-old has been in WWE since 2019 and is having a great run both in the developmental brand, NXT & in the main roster.
Although his first run was cut short during the COVID era, his official move to the main roster was very impactful. He was Vince McMahon’s chosen one, who managed to reach some great heights within a short time.
Theory was quick to enter into the WWE Championship bout, he won the Money in the Bank too soon, he became the second youngest United States Champion, shared the ring & defended the US title against some big stars on big occasions.
Austin Theory is currently doing a great work in the SmackDown brand aligning with Grayson Waller & Logan Paul and going against Kevin Owens & Randy Orton. Austin Theory has been appreciated for his great in-ring, however he credited two popular stars for helping him out right from the start.
Austin Theory praised The Usos
The two-time United States Champion recently appeared for an interview on 107.9 KFIN, where Theory gave a shout out to The Usos and said that he is grateful to them for helping him since the beginning of his career. Their mindset, experience, advice and everything helped him on the main roster.
Austin Theory & The Usos,
“There are two specific guys. They’ve been there since the beginning, since I was having dark matches when they were deciding if I was ready to be on the main roster. Those two guys, it’s Jey and Jimmy Uso. The support from those two and the mindset, the two being there for over a decade, it’s such good advice and such a good place to be with them.
Just how many things they can help me out with, how they see stuff, how much stuff they have seen. I’m just grateful for those two. They’ve helped me out a lot. Shoutout to the Usos.” [h/t Fightful]
Although the Usos are credited as one, Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso are currently not on terms & have been in a rivalry against each other. Jimmy & Jey will be going one-on-one against each other at WrestleMania 40 for the very first time since their birth, in a brother vs brother match.
