“The Beast Incarnate” has been a top attraction for WWE for many years

Brock Lesnar is considered one of the biggest box-office attractions in WWE. The Beast Incarnate’s imposing strength, size, and physical stature make him a unique specimen and one of the most feared in-ring competitors in the world.

However, behind that dominant persona is a farm country boy who lives a quiet life, does not interact much with people and is often perceived as an arrogant man. Moreover, there have been several backstage stories that hint at the fact that Lesnat is a completely different individual than his onscreen persona. Here are the top five behind-the-scenes stories about Brock Lesnar.

5. Brock Lesnar lost a real-life fight to WWE Hall of Famer

Brock Lesnar is considered to be one of the strongest in-ring competitors of all time. Yet, it comes as a shocker to many people that he actually lost a fight to his former rival, Kurt Angle. The WWE Hall of Famer and ‘The Beast Incarnate’ engaged in a real-life amateur wrestling fight to see who was the better man, as revealed by Gerald Brisco. Angle had taken him and double-legged him so fast that he was down and out, losing the bout in the process.

4. Almost threw hands with a member of Tyson Fury’s team member

A real-life backstage altercation happened at the WWE Crown Jewel 2019 between Brock Lesnar and Tim Allcock, who is a close friend and member of boxing World Champion Tyson Fury.

He was presented backstage as Fury had a match with Braun Strowman, and Lesnar faced Cain Valasquez at the event. According to YouTuber Kugan Cassius, who spoke to Tommy Fury, Lesnar passed a comment on Tim that he did not like, which almost led both men to blows backstage at the Saudi Arabia event.

3. Real-life friends with CM Punk

Brock Lesnar was embroiled in a heated feud with CM Punk in 2013. This was at the time that Paul Heyman betrayed CM Punk and sided back with the Beast Incarnate.

However, the interesting thing that the fans might know is that the onscreen rivals are actually good friends behind the scenes. During the time Punk was transitioning to MMA, Lesnar had reached out to him and wanted to be of any help he can to Punk, considering his own experience of transition from wrestling to MMA.

2. Body slammed Wee Man

During the build-up to the 2022 Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar flew into town to St Louis for the event. He encountered the Jack Ass star Wee Man at a restaurant and body-slammed the man way smaller in size than the imposing Beast Incarnate. Speaking on the Pat McAfee show, Lesnar claimed that it was a fun experience and not at all staged in any manner. In turn, Brock mentioned that it was good for business leading up to one of the most exciting events of the year, the Royal Rumble.

1. Close bond with Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guererro was one of the most captivating and talented WWE superstars of all time, who passed away suddenly due to heart failure in 2005. He and Brock Lesnar had a memorable match at WWE No Way Out in 2004, where Guerrero won his first WWE Championship.

As revealed by Eddie’s wife, Vickie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar was close to Eddie Guerrero and, to this date, misses him every day. This comes as a surprise for a man as imposing as Lesnar to have a soft heart beneath the alpha build of the Beast.
