“The Man” is one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time

Becky Lynch emerged victorious in a battle royal on “Monday Night Raw,” on 22 April 2024 securing the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship. Among fifteen initial contenders, Lynch, Nia Jax, and Liv Morgan remained in the final stages. Cooperating, Lynch and Morgan ousted Jax. As the last two competitors, they battled fiercely, with Lynch ultimately executing a manhandle slam to eliminate Morgan and claim the championship.

With this, ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch is now a 7 times women’s Champion as she had a lot of title runs in WWE including the recent one. Let’s have a look at each one of them and elaborate more on how the runs happened in WWE.

Smackdown Women’s Championship (2016)

As it all started, the Smackdown Women’s Championship was vacant and newly introduced in 2016. It was a Six Pack Women’s match that was introduced to determine the winner of the same.

In this match, Becky Lynch faced a challenging lineup of opponents including Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Naomi, Natalya, and Nikki Bella. Lasting 14 minutes and 21 seconds, Lynch successfully navigated the onslaught, ultimately emerging victorious. The triumph resulted in Lynch capturing the championship. She held the title for 84 Days.

In a thrilling match against Charlotte Flair, Lynch emerged victorious, capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship for the second time in her career. This victory marked a turning point in Lynch’s career, igniting a new era of dominance and solidifying her status as a top star in WWE’s women’s division.

Throughout her championship reign in 2018, Lynch engaged in intense rivalries and defended her title against formidable opponents, including Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Carmella.

In 2019, Becky Lynch successfully defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against challengers such as Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and Sasha Banks, among others. Her reign during this time period was marked by intense rivalries and memorable matches

The feud culminated in a Hell in a Cell match at the namesake pay-per-view, which Lynch won. At Survivor Series, Lynch faced SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler in a non-title triple threat match, which Baszler won.
