WWE SmackDown’s premiere episode on USA Network could see some shocking betrayals take place this week.

WWE’s blue brand, SmackDown is set to move to its new broadcasting home, USA Network this Friday kicking off a new season for the show. A new start for SmackDown will surely produce a highly enthralling show with some compelling matches already announced for the card.

However, looking at the ongoing storylines on SmackDown and adding more exciting and shocking moments to its premiere episode on the USA network, WWE might pull the trigger on some betrayals that would leave the fans stunned. Here are the top four betrayals that the WWE Universe can witness on the September 13 edition of Friday Night Smackdown:

4. Austin Theory

WWE Austin Theory United States Champion

For the better part of last year, young and brash upstarts Austin Theory and Grayson Waller came together to join forces as A-Town Down Under. Their partnership led to some high-profile matches and even a reign as the WWE tag team champions on SmackDown.

However, evident cracks have been witnessed between the two over the last few weeks. It could be time for WWE to split the two young stars, with Theory turning on Waller to end their association and going their separate ways to begin their respective single careers once again.

3. Santos Escobar

After Santos Escobar failed to defeat LA Knight for the WWE United States title despite his faction, Legado Del Fantasma, by his side, he did not seem pleased with them last week in a segment.

Moreover, Escobar’s months of not receiving significant opportunities and failing to win important bouts could lead to him snapping at his faction and berating them for going his separate way.

2. Tiffany Stratton

Miss Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton is currently aligned with the WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax. However, the WWE fans have seen Tiffy Time strike with her golden opportunity to become champion herself.

After weeks of Nia trying to impose her will, Stratton could finally use her briefcase and cash it at the right spot on Jax to end their alliance and become champion herself.

1. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens WWE

Kevin Owens teased multiple times about turning to his aggressive side on the road to the WWE Bash in Berlin and even during his Undisputed WWE title match against Cody Rhodes at the event but held back.

However, his huge loss could finally push him over the edge to betray Cody Rhodes right after his match with Solo Sikoa inside a Steel Cage and set up another title bout at WWE’s next PLE, Bad Blood.
