Bash in Berlin could be a banger and could change the dynamics of the company

Bash in Berlin is the upcoming Premium Live Event hosted by WWE. This is the first PLE to be held in Germany and is the inaugural Bash in Berlin event to take place. The event is scheduled to take place on August 31, 2024 at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.

WWE has booked some of the interesting matches for the PLE, with three major titles on the line. As we officially enter into the PLE week, we take a look at the top five bold predictions for the 2024 Bash in Berlin PLE.

5. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill will tease split

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will challenge Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Although Cargill & Belair has been the dominant duo, Jade & Belair could have a miscommunication between them could result in a botch and the assist from Blair Davenport could help the champs retain the titles. After the match, Belair and Jade will yell at each other and tease of a potential split.

4. CM Punk will defeat Drew McIntyre

CM Punk will square off against Drew McIntyre in a strap match. This is the second match between them in the same month. Although Drew McIntyre has the height and weight advantage over Punk, the Second City Saint has more experience in the strap match than Drew. Since Punk is more fired up than Drew for this match, Punk is expected to win the match and take his bracelet from Drew.

3. Judgment Day will help Dom & Liv win

Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, the new romantic duo of the Judgment Day 2.0 will be challenging the Terror Twins, Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag team match. Although Priest and Rhea are more focused to take the flesh and blood from their opponents, the new version of the Judgment Day could be there to assist Dom and Liv to defeat Ripley & Priest. This could build the storyline for a long term and result in a major match in the later events.

2. Gunther will defeat Randy Orton

Gunther will be defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in a singles match. Gunther already won a match against Orton, but Gunther didn’t clearly pinned Orton. Although Orton has the experience advantage over the Ring General, he will be in a hostile situation in Germany. All these gives Gunther the advantage to retain the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Orton clean.

1. Kevin Owens will betray Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in a singles match. Cody has been the dominant one since his return and only got pinned in rare situations. Owens on the other hand is the prize fighter who gives everything inside the ring.

Although both being friends, they see no mercy inside the ring, when it comes to the one on one situation. They are expected to give a five-star match, with Cody retaining the championship. However, Owens could turn on Cody after the match after a very long time, due to the greed for the title. The teasings of Owens turning on Cody has been teased recent times and it could make Owens one of the strongest heels despite the Bloodline in the blue brand.
