WWE Royal Rumble 2026 could have game-changing match conclusions.
The most historic edition of the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event is upon millions of fans. It is set to take place on January 31 at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The show will feature top-tier and rising talent competing in the namesake Rumble matches alongside two other blockbuster showdowns. So here are five bold predictions for the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 edition:
5. Sami Zayn loses another World Title match
Sami Zayn had to go through qualifiers and a Fatal 4-Way match to earn a title shot against the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, at the Royal Rumble. The match could see The Underdog from the Underground give his all, but the conniving McIntyre might still find a way to crush his dreams and pick up another victory over him at the event.
4. Liv Morgan wins Women’s Royal Rumble
Liv Morgan has been one of the most popular and top female WWE talents of this generation. A report had stated that WWE had major plans to give Morgan a singles push. This could begin at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE with Morgan winning the Women’s Rumble and earning her first top singles bout at WrestleMania 42.
3. Oba Femi sets a new record
WWE has been hyping the arrival of Oba Femi to the main roster for weeks. The former NXT Champion could finally make his debut as a surprise entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble.
He could have a dominant display in the match and walk away by setting a new record for most eliminations to make a huge impact at the start of his main roster run.
2. Bron Breakker wins Men’s Royal Rumble
One of the top contenders to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match is Bron Breakker. Not only that, The Vision have themselves agreed that Breakker should win among them. This could mean that the Unpredictable Bad Ass could have all the help to clear the field and walk away with his first major win to punch his ticket to a title match at WrestleMania 42.
1. Chris Jericho returns
A highly bold prediction for this year’s Royal Rumble could see the return of WWE veteran Chris Jericho. He has been rumored to have left AEW and is set return to WWE for a long time. The Rumble event could be the perfect stage for his thunderous comeback as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble PLE.
