Booker T believes WWE should put 'rocket' on Jey Uso 'right now' for World Championship

Jey Uso is one of the top singles wrestlers on active WWE roster
Jey Uso is one of the most celebrated wrestlers among fans on the active WWE roster. Jey earned a major spotlight after joining The Bloodline in 2020. However, Jey Uso left the Bloodline last summer and started his singles wrestling career, which gained a huge amount of attention from the WWE Universe. Jey created his own identity and got the vibe of the fans.
Uso is now one of the biggest singles wrestlers in the active WWE roster and is in pursuit of winning his first singles championship. Jey had some of the big matches and came so close to winning his first singles title on several occasions, but failed. Seeing his growth, a WWE veteran gave a huge shoutout to Jey.
Booker T believes Jey Uso could be a future World Champion
Booker T on his recent edition of his ‘Hall of Fame podcast’ answered the fans’ questions, where the veteran addressed Jey Uso’s current run. Booker T praised The Usos and said that Jey is one of the hottest commodities and wanted WWE to put the rocket on him. He believes that Jey could be a world champion one day sooner or later.
Booker T said,
“Of course, it’s gotta happen. They’re like one of the most decorated tag team champions of all time. I told those guys that was going to happen. Jey right now is super duper hot, so you gotta put the rocket on him sooner or later. Jey is a guy that definitely could be the world champion one day, the way the people are looking at him right now, so I think to capitalize off of that, you have to put the title on him sooner or later because he’s uber hot right now.”
Jey recently defeated Dominik Mysterio on the latest episode of WWE Raw and has been hinting that he has an interest in knowing whether Rhea Ripley is single or not to make his next move to show his interest in her. However is away from the championship competition, after his loss to Damian Priest at WWE Backlash 2024.
