Brock Lesnar has been on hiatus for a long time since SummerSlam 2023. It was previously reported that Brock Lesnar will be back in WWE at Royal Rumble 2024 to participate in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. However, Lesnar was pulled out from the match and was replaced by Bron Breakker following Miss Janel Grant’s sexual trafficking lawsuit filings against Vince McMahon. Although Lesnar was not directly mentioned, the Wall Street Journal revealed that it was Lesnar who got mentioned in the plaintiff.
It was also said that Lesnar’s plans on the road to WrestleMania are subjected to change and was pulled out from his planned appearances. He was originally said to be working with Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber, but plans got scrapped. As we are just a few days away from WrestleMania 40 a positive update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE status has been revealed.
Brock Lesnar is back on the roster
WWE Fans have noted that Brock Lesnar has been added to the roster page. It was previously reported that WWE has been erasing Lesnar from WWE and moving him to the alumni roster, however he is back on the active roster. However some other sources reported that Lesnar was not removed from the roster before.
It is notable that Lesnar was removed from WWE’s opening intro video, replaced with LA Knight, removed from the WWE 2K24 cover, and was made a non-playable character in the video game.
Although there are a number of confusions, seeing Lesnar in the active roster gives hope, however we need to wait whether he could be making his return to television before WrestleMania 40. Backstage reports suggest that Lesnar was originally scheduled to face Gunther at Mania, but we need to wait unless official information on it is made available.
