Brock Lesnar has been out of action since SummerSlam 2023
Brock Lesnar is one of the most prolific combat sports athletes of his era. He is the only person to have won championships in three different combat sports. With a background in collegiate wrestling and a beastly physique, Lesnar has a terrifying presence.
Lesnar was recently trending on social media after his name was mentioned twice in the WWE Monday Night RAW episode on October 14. Lesnar has been absent in the ring since his last appearance during SummerSlam 2023.
He was defeated by the current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes in his last outing. The recent references on RAW (10/14) have led to speculations of Lesnar’s return.
There were two references made during the show regarding The Beast Incarnate. The first one was made by Seth Rollins while the other was made by the current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. These references primarily included The former WWE Champion’s nicknames, Rhodes and Rollins.
Amid speculations of Lesnar’s return let us look at the 5top five funniest moments of Brock Lesnar.
5. Lesnar takes Sami Zayn fishing
During an episode of SmackDown On December 10, 2021, Lesnar interacted with an injured Sami Zayn who sat in a wheelchair with a neck brace.
Zayn’s positive personality and character boosted the interaction as Lesnar invited Zayn for a hunting and fishing trip.
The segment was elevated by Zayn’s expressions and comments while Lesnar was very loose and in the moment which was a side the fans don’t usually see.
4. Roman Reigns visit ‘Suplex City’
Brock Lesnar took ‘The Original Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns Roman on a visit to “Suplex City” during his WWE World Heavyweight Title match at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
The main event of WrestleMania 31 was a triple-threat match between Lesnar, Reigns, and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. WWE fans are very familiar with Lesnar’s love for German suplexes.
The Beast Incarnate took Reigns on a tour of the city at WrestleMania 31 as he landed multiple suplexes on The Original Tribal Chief. Lesnar hit the move and then hilariously said, “Suplex City, b*tch!” This comment from Lesnar added a little comedy to the moment.
3. Battle of laughs
In the main event of SummerSlam in 2015, Lesnar fought WWE legend, The Undertaker. The Undertaker won the fight against Lesnar via submission.
However, the segment that became very popular from the fight was when the two legends were pushing each other to the extreme and were lying exhausted in the middle of the ring.
Suddenly both fighters sat up and started staring at each other which led them to burst out laughing terrifyingly. The segment gained popularity among fans as both WWE legends are known for their no-nonsense and serious personas.
2. Lesnar vs Technology
Brock Lesnar is known for his countryside lifestyle and his disconnect with modern technology. In a backstage segment with the current Raw General Manager Adam Pearce on SmackDown.
In the segment with Pearce, The Beast expressed his love for hunting and stated that he scored a giant moose on his hunting trip. Lesnar then took out his flip phone (in 2021) as he wanted to show Pearce a picture of the moose.
However, he started struggling with his phone as it malfunctioned. Things escalated as he snapped crushing the phone with his bare hands and started describing the hunting trip in great detail while maintaining a comedic tone.
1. The Beast does a knock-knock joke
On the January 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar came face to face with the ‘All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley. Lesnar was in a jolly mood as he started a ‘knock-knock’ joke with Paul Heyman.
The Beast is known for many things knock-knock joke isn’t one of them, so this came as a surprise not just to fans but to Heyman too who looked visibly confused. Heyman then stated, ” Brock Lesnar does a knock-knock joke in Philadelphia, I thought I saw it all!”
The joke was done at Lashley’s expense in a very cheesy way to mock him which angered The All Mighty. However, the fans loved the segment as this was a very rare moment of The Beast doing a knock-knock joke.
