“The Beast Incarnate” hasn’t been seen since WWE Summerslam 2023

After the infamous Vince McMahon scandal, Brock Lesnar was eventually identified as an “unnamed” WWE star mentioned in a sex trafficking case brought against WWE and Vince McMahon. When Lesnar’s name appeared, WWE took many steps to disassociate itself from the former UFC star, despite having major creative ideas in the works.

WWE cancelled Brock Lesnar’s involvement in the 2024 Royal Rumble event and replaced him with NXT call-up Bron Breakker. As a consequence, WWE abandoned a planned WrestleMania 40 dream match between Lesnar and Intercontinental Champion Gunther, who has to face Sami Zayn.

Lesnar was just put back on WWE’s roster website, sparking considerable speculation that he will be returning to the business as an active performer, maybe in time for King and Queen of the Ring. Lesnar was removed from all creative plans after the scandal.

Will Brock Lesnar return at the coming PLE?

Reportedly, Lesnar isn’t scheduled to appear at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. The whole scenario is, After beating AJ Styles at Backlash France, Cody Rhodes revealed his next adversary on this Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown, May 10, 2024.

Nick Aldis offered an intriguing matchup with Logan Paul. While the undisputed WWE Championship is on the line in the event, Rhodes seems to be interested in the possibility that the United States Championship might also be on the line. However, Cody Rhodes confirmed the match was a Title vs Title match.

However, this has sparked debate among fans, with many believing that Paul did not deserve the opportunity. So, what may be the explanation behind this? According to a popular podcast, this is because the WWE was unable to secure Brock Lesnar’s participation in the program.

On the Busted Open Podcast, hosts Justin and Jonathan talked about the main event of King and Queen of the Ring. The main event pits Logan Paul against the American Nightmare in a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ bout. And, while it appears to be promising on paper, the podcast hosts say it lacks energy.

“When you’re talking about the Saudi Arabia show. Is where they tried to, you know, in past, we would have gotten Cody Rhodes vs Bill Goldberg or Brock Lesnar, Or before his healthcare Triple H. They, we would have pulled some hall of fame name. Some part-time or something. Something of an attraction for the Saudi Arabia show. Well, there’s not really any of those names quite left anymore to pull from or at least anything original. And so Logan Paul kind of bridges that gap.”
