Bron Breakker has been on a path of destruction

The Intercontinental Championship was on the line as Sami Zayn defended it against the deadly Bron Breakker. Since dethroning Gunther at WrestleMania XL, Zayn has not faced a more deadly opponent than Breakker, who has terrified Monday Night Raw since his draft.

Zayn defeated Breakker at WWE Money in the Bank in Toronto, but The Badass continued to assault the champion, Spearing him at every turn, forcing Zayn to put his championship on the line once more.

Bron Breakker is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion

The match between Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 2024 was an exhilarating contest from the very start. As the bell rang, Breakker charged in for a spear, but Zayn leapfrogged him, causing Breakker to crash into the ring post and tumble to the floor. As the match progressed, Zayn began to string together some offense, leapfrogging into a lariat and blocking Breakker’s Blue Thunder Driver. Zayn’s momentum was briefly halted when Breakker cut him off with a spear. With the straps down, signalling his determination to finish the match, Breakker charged off the ropes and delivered a devastating spear to Zayn.

In the end, Bron Breakker pinned Sami Zayn, becoming the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. The victory marked a significant milestone in Breakker’s career, showcasing his power and resilience against one of WWE’s most cunning and experienced competitors. The crowd erupted as Breakker celebrated his hard-fought win, setting the stage for a promising reign as champion.
