Charlotte Flair sends a message to Finn Balor amidst return rumors: WWE
Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December 2023
14-time WWE Champion Charlotte Flair sparked a frenzy among fans last week as she teased her return in a recent post ahead of the 11/22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The Queen has been inactive for the past eleven months. The last time she was seen in the ring was in December 2023, when she competed against Asuka. During that match, she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
Flair recently shared a video on her social media handle teasing her return ahead of the 11/22 SmackDown show. In the clip, a diamond-shaped ice shard cracked through a block of ice, revealing her image, with her name “Charlotte” visible inside the diamond.
She did not return on the 11/22 episode of SmackDown, and there has been no official update regarding her return to the Stamford-based promotion.
Charlotte Flair commented on Vero Rodriguez’s post
WWE superstar Finn Balor‘s wife Vero Rodriguez recently posted a picture with her husband on Instagram with the caption, “We hot. We in love 🇲🇽🇮🇪. @finnbalor.”
The Queen reacted to the post with a heart emoji, amid speculations of her return to the squared ring. One part of World Tag Team Champion also commented on his wife’s post, he wrote: “You HOT!!!!” with two heart eyes emoji.
Ment Day is facing internal challenges as Balor and Dominik Mysterio recently had a heated exchange during their backstage segment. Balor and JD McDonagh are currently focusing on taking down the War Raiders (Erick and Ivar), who are the #1 contenders for the tag titles.
On the other hand, fans are eagerly waiting for Flair to make her return back to the WWE. As stated above, Flair was injured during her match against Asuka on the 12/02/23 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The addition of Charlotte will only make things more interesting in the women’s division. Given the star power of Flair, there might be a possibility that she will be immediately involved in huge storylines upon her comeback.
