Jade Cargill was attacked backstage last month
WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has revealed the name of the person who attacked Jade Cargill last month. One half of the tag-team champion Cargill was attacked last month which forced her out of action.
During an edition of Friday Night SmackDown ahead of Survivor Series PLE last month, Bianca Belair locked horns with Blair Davenport and Chelsea Green in the opening round of the Women’s US title tournament.
Belair’s tag partner Cargill was brutally attacked by an unknown assailant during the triple threat match, she was left unconscious on the hood of a car with a shattered windshield. Belair abandoned the match and rushed to her partner’s side, who was then taken to the hospital for treatment
Cargill suffered multiple injuries which forced her out of action ahead of Survivor Series 2024 PLE where he was part of Rhea Ripley‘s team in the women’s WarGames match. Jade was replaced by Bayley in the WarGames clash.
Naomi replaced Jade Cargill as the Women’s Tag Team Champion
On last week’s episode of the Blue brand, Belair was informed by General Manager Nick Aldis that she would have to relinquish her tag title in the absence of Cargill.
However, Naomi who was with Belair backstage, stepped up and took Cargill’s place as the two started their preparation for next week where they had to defend the tag titles against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
The two teams clashed on the 12/20 show where Belair and Noami emerged on top as they defeated Jad and LeRae to defend their tag titles.
After the victory, Naomi took to her official X account to express her gratitude to Belair. In a tweet tagging Cargill, she stated that she would hold onto the belt until Cargill’s return.
The Women’s US Champion quickly replied to the post accusing Noami of attacking Cargill. “I bet it was you who made Jade.” Green tweeted.
However, Noami didn’t hold back as she quickly replied asking Green’s tag partner Piper Niven to keep the Women’s US Champion in control. “@PiperNivenWWE you better get her before I do!”
Who do you think was the assailant who attacked Cargill last month? Do you believe Naomi will be able to retain Cargill’s title until her return? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
