CM Punk to make his return at this major WWE PLE: Report

CM Punk went on a hiatus after his match at WWE Bad Blood 2024
As demonstrated at the 2024 WWE Bad Blood PLE, CM Punk beat Drew McIntyre within the Hell in a Cell construction. The next night on RAW, Punk confirmed that he would be returning home for a while.
Fightful.com revealed that Punk is unlikely to appear at the 2024 Crown Jewel PLE. Punk has previously criticized WWE’s decision to hold shows in Saudi Arabia. Punk ordered The Miz to “go suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia you f*ck*ng dork” on Twitter/X in 2020 in a now-deleted tweet.
On Episode 4 of WrestleVotes Radio, which is available through their Backstage Pass membership, it was announced that CM Punk is slated to appear at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 pay-per-view event on November 30, 2024 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
It is unclear what function he may potentially act in. However, there has been widespread talk for some time, including from PWN’s Viper, that Punk will challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Of course, CM Punk returned to WWE last year at Survivor Series with a surprise appearance following the WarGames match. He will skip the next WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia, potentially owing to his previous distaste for talent appearing at those shows (though it is conceivable he is simply taking time off to recover after his devastating Hell in a Cell bout against Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood).
Will AJ Lee return with CM Punk in his next WWE appearance?
It has been nine years since AJ Lee left WWE and retired from wrestling, but CM Punk’s homecoming a year ago has fueled speculation about the former Divas Champion’s aspirations to return.
Punk has stated that he would want to see his wife back in the ring, therefore WWE may intend to have the couple appear at Survivor Series: WarGames, the same PLE where CM Punk returned to WWE in November 2023.
Should she come back? AJ Lee could target Liv Morgan and go for the reigning women’s world title, while Punk would join her in a mixed tag team bout against Liv and Dominik Mysterio.
Do, let us know in the comments what you think about Punk returning with his wife AJ Lee anytime soon.
