WWE's Cody Rhodes names one Man City player he wouldn't want to fight

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to face Gunther at Crown Jewel 2024 PLE
âThe American Nightmareâ Cody Rhodes is currently in London for a highly anticipated return of WWE in the United Kingdom. He will also be headlining the event at the new Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. The event is scheduled for October 16, 2024.
The WWE Undisputed champion Cody Rhodes is scheduled to fight Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match. The American Nightmare has also faced betrayal at the hand of his friend Kevin Owens.
Rhodes was attacked backstage by Owens after Bad Blood 2024 PLE while the champion was leaving the arena. Owens was not happy with Codyâs decision to team up with Reigns at the PLE. Owens also tried to confront Rhodes on the last week of SmackDown and tried to tell his side of the story.
However, this confrontation during SmakcDown led to Owens attacking his friend Randy Orton after Orton rushed to the ring and tried to calm the situation between the two former friends.
Amid all the chaos, Rhodes is also scheduled to face the WWE Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the inaugural Crown Jewel Title at Crown Jewel 2024.
Cody Rhodes visited Manchester Cityâs Etihad Stadium
Cody Rhodes has been touring the city and talking to the media ahead of the event in Manchester. During one such visit on Monday to have a look around Manchester Cityâs world-class facility.
During the visit, Rhodes was asked to name a Manchester City player he is least likely to fight in the WWE ring. âCody which Manchester City player would you least like to take on in a WWE fight?â
The American Nightmare responded by naming Erling Haaland while holding up Haalandâs image, âIâd say Erling Haaland. As you can see â kind of looks like the type of guy who would beat you up outside of your Busâ
Haaland is considered one of the best football players in the world. Rhodes also admitted that he has a bad habit of getting into brawls in the parking lot, âI have a bad habit of, thatâs been going on a lot lately. Donât want to get in with him, long limbs too â thatâs a whole another mess!â
