Triple H is currently leading WWE’s creative.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently made an appearance on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike to hype his upcoming clash against Drew McIntyre, which will take place on the Wrestlepalooza PLE. The PLE will usher in the new ESPN era for WWE.

During the appearance, Rhodes revealed that the fight for Triple H’s spot is already underway, and he’s throwing his name in the hat. Since the TKO takeover, the WWE is not owned by the McMahon family, leading many fans to speculate on a successor when Triple H decides to leave.

When asked if he wanted to run WWE, Rhodes expressed interest in potentially leading WWE in the future but acknowledged he’s not quite ready yet. He praised CM Punk for his talent in developing younger stars and also named Seth Rollins as a potential strong leader.

“I felt like I had some experience, and I’d be interested in something like that. But also, it’s very clear that CM Punk is really great at helping develop young talent.

He probably has a knack for it more than anybody. Seth Rollins is a little bit more rough around the edges, but probably would be an outstanding boss when it comes down to it.”

Rhodes also mentioned that other candidates like Bayley, he also mentioned Roman Reigns, who he thinks will always have a say in such things. The Undisputed Champion also praised Triple H for doing a great job with creative.

“I’d love to throw my name in the hat. I don’t know if I’m ready to do it officially yet, but I like the fact that there’s the three of us, plus there’s tons of other people. Bayley, Roman [Reigns] will always have a say. Just, you’ve got an older locker room right now.

So eventually, those positions, see if you can do good. Because it’s not always booking; the industry is not easy. And Triple H is doing a great job. So thankfully we have him for quite some time.”
