The Deadman is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time
The Undertaker is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, who will always be an icon of the industry. The phenom had a long wrestling career of more than three decades (33 years) and has been one of the top wrestlers throughout the journey. Taker is known for his Deadman gimmick, supernatural powers, mindgames, undefeated streak, horrifying character, and engaging storylines.
Undertaker is one of the toughest wrestlers to face and defeat, especially on big occasions like WrestleMania. Taker maintained an undefeated streak for years, from 1991 to 2013. However, his streak was broken in 2014 and again in 2017. He had a total of 27 matches at WrestleMania where he won 25 and lost 2.
Although The Phenom’s streak was broken, no one has managed to maintain the undefeated streak at Mania this long. However current Tag Team Champion claims that he is superior over Taker and he would be recreating Taker’s Streak.
Grayson Waller claims superiority over The Undertaker
Grayson Waller recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump, where The Aussie Icon spoke about recreating the Streak, directly referencing The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak of 21-0 before his first loss. Claiming that even the Undertaker has lost in WrestleMania and he is not.
Grayson Waller says,
“Question, has The Undertaker lost at WrestleMania? He has. Has Grayson Waller lost at WrestleMania? [laughs] No, which means that I’m better than The Undertaker. I think I’m the greatest WrestleMania competitor of all… has Shawn Michaels lost at WrestleMania? I haven’t lost at WrestleMania.”
“Dude, I think I’m the greatest WrestleMania competitor of all time. 1-0, championship. I couldn’t lose at WrestleMania. I don’t know what it feels like. I’ve never had to experience that because I’m undefeated at WrestleMania.”
Waller recently made his WrestleMania debut at WrestleMania 40, teaming up with Austin Theory and won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in the Six-pack Tag Team Championship Ladder Match.
This win made the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship split into two different tag team titles once again. Theory & Waller’s first challengers would be determined this week, as WWE announced a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match involving four major tag teams in the SmackDown brand.
Could Grayson Waller be able to maintain his WrestleMania winning streak and break Taker’s streak? Comment
