Dakota Kai is one of the most popular WWE Superstars outside of the ring, having a huge following. She communicates with her admirers through a variety of platforms, but she keeps her dating life secret. However, this no longer appears to be the case.

NXT Superstar Eddy Thorpe has confirmed that he and Kai are dating. He uploaded many photos on Instagram after his 34th birthday, one of which showed the two in an intimate pose.

While it was not explicitly stated in the article, Eddy Thorpe acknowledged it while responding to a remark ordering him to “unhand her.” He just stated, “No can do.” This surprised the WWE Universe because Kai had never revealed a relationship with Thorpe before.

Dakota Kai had an emotional return to Japan last week

The Damage CTRL member is now in Japan as part of WWE’s trip there. She has already competed in a few events, marking her first visit to Japan since signing with the promotion. Dakota Kai sent an emotional tweet on her X/Twitter account reminiscing about her prior work in promotions such as Stardom in 2016.

“The last time I was in Japan was start of 2016, working as a freelance wrestler with promotions like Stardom and Sendai Girls. Just landed in Tokyo and about to do shows with WWE. What is life,” tweeted Kai.

Kai wrestled the same match at live shows in Osaka and Tokyo. She competed with IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Tiffany Stratton in a losing effort against Bayley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Meiko Satomura. Meanwhile, in today’s second show in Tokyo, the latter will fight The Role Model for the WWE Women’s Championship.

WWE RAW will take place on Monday, October 21, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 will take place on Sunday, October 27 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The following night’s episode of WWE RAW will be held at the same location on October 28.
