Prior to the match, Seth Rollins asked Damian Priest to leave The Judgment Day members backstage, as he wanted his first title defense to be fair enough as they won’t play clean. Priest delivered a tough fight and also saw interference from Finn Balor.

However, Rollins countered him with a tough fight and took Balor out of the equation to win the match by stomping Priest’s head to the mat and retained his World Heavyweight Championship on his first title defense.
