The Archer of Infamy was a former part of the Judgment Day
‘The Archer of Infamy’ Damian Priest started his journey in the WWE similar to many of his fellow stars in the developmental brand and slowly made his way to the main roster in 2021. Priest captured his first WWE title in 2020 when he became the WWE NXT North American Champion.
Following his debut on the Monday Night Raw brand, Priest went on to capture the United States title after defeating Sheamus at SummerSlam 2021 PLE. The Archer of Infamy went on to defend the US title twelve times before losing to Finn Balor.
However, Priest’s career took off when he formed the Judgment Day with Edge, where multiple members were added, including Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor. Priest and Balor went on to defeat the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to become the WWE RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
Balor and Priest once again captured both the tag titles after defeating the team of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in October 2023. After winning the Money in the Bank, Priest successfully cashed it on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40 to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
However, what Priest, along with Balo,r did to Edge caught up with him as during his fourth title defense against Gunther at SummerSlam 2024, Balor betrayed him, helping Gunther win the title and subsequently removing both Damian and Rhea Ripley from the group.
Since then, Priest has been a lone wolf, barring a few occasions, while he has not been able to achieve similar success as of now, he faced Drew McIntyre at the 41st edition of WrestleMania. McIntyre has been irked as Priest not only took the title from him last year but was the one who eliminated him in both the Royal Rumble PLE and the Elimination Chamber match.
Ahead of the clash between the two Titans, let us take a look at the WrestleMania record of the Archer of Infamy.
