Bronson Reed & Braun Strowman were involved in a big brawl on 9/16 WWE Raw!

On the September 16, 2024, episode of Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman was supposed to have a singles match against Bronson Reed. However, Reed tried to attack Strowman before the bell, but Reed collided with the turnbuckle, which made the top turnbuckle break and come out of the socket. Before the turnbuckle was fixed for the official match, both kick-started a brawl. Strowman performed a chokeslam on Reed and took a long step to push Reed to the barricade, but Reed used a fan as a weapon by throwing him over Strowman.

Although Strowman’s momentum dipped, he completed the run to break the barricade with Reed on his second attempt. Although the officials separated them, they continued their brawl backstage, where Strowman tossed Reed, securities and wrecked a forklift. Reed performed a crossbody to break a couple of tables, taking a brief control. However, Strowman ran over him to break the partition wall.

The brawl became a major talking point and most of them wondered if the person who Bronson Reed tossed was really a WWE fan. Here is everything we know about it.

Did Bronson Reed toss a real WWE fan?

No, Bronson Reed didn’t actually throw an actual WWE fan on the 9/16 WWE Raw. An X/Twitter page named The Local Competitor revealed that the blue t-shirt guy whom Reed tossed over Braun Strowman was an independent pro-wrestler named Nessy Hendrixx and not a random WWE fan, who came to watch the show.

The report also reveals that Hendrixx has previously appeared on WWE Raw in February 2024. In his earlier appearance, he stood along with Paul Heyman and performed as one of the three NYPD officers. They surrounded the ring on the orders of Paul Heyman and got attacked by Cody Rhodes.

If Reed had held his hands on any of the actual WWE fans, he would have been filed charges legally and would have been indefinitely suspended from the company, which could also have caused him a lot of trouble for his career. However, WWE could use this as an angle for the ongoing Strowman vs Reed rivalry in the upcoming events.
