Jacob Fatu played a major part in the Bloodline rules match at SummerSlam 2024
Jacob Fatu is one hell of a talent, who recently made his WWE debut as a member of Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline. The Samoan WereWolf has been terrorizing the entire SmackDown locker room with his extraordinary power and athleticism.
Fatu has been a game changer for The new Bloodline and has been a one-man wrecking machine. He played a major role in the Bloodline rules match at SummerSlam, however he was limping during the final moments teasing of a possible injury. Here we take a look at whether Jacob Fatu is injured or not.
Is Jacob Fatu injured?
At SummerSlam 2024, in the Bloodline rules match, Jacob Fatu came to help his Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa by attacking Cody Rhodes, when the Tongans were taken out by Randy Orton & Kevin Owens. Fatu delivered a senton from the top rope to stop Cody from delivering the second Cross Rhodes & Solo Sikoa. He then delivered a moonsault and took Cody to the announcement table for a big splash from the top rope and broke the table.
While performing the splash, Fatu bumped his leg and started limping, however he asked Solo to continue the match. Fatu was rarely able to stand and Michael Cole addressed Fatu’s injury and his efforts to make Solo the champion. However he was only able to watch Roman screw Solo.
Triple H addresses Jacob Fatu’s injury
Following the event, during the post-show press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H addressed Jacob Fatu’s injury saying that he banged his leg during the match, and it is causing him a little bit. Hunter said that nothing was serious, however his injury is being addressed.
Triple H said,
“Unfortunately, (Jacob Fatu) got a little bit banged up in that last match. The only two real… Logan’s a little banged up, as he should be, and Jacob’s a little banged up. I’ll see where that nets out here in a little bit. Hopefully nothing serious, but it was bugging him a little bit, the leg, so we’ll see where he is.”
It is important to note that Fatu has just won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Tama Tonga, a night before SummerSlam. We need to wait and watch, whether Fatu will continue his title reign, or the title will be in the freebird rule within The Bloodline making Tonga Loa or Solo Sikoa the tag team champions.
