Four possible directions for Xavier Woods following WWE RAW

Xavier Woods has been dropping hints for a heel turn in recent weeks.

Xavier Woods is undoubtedly one of the most entertaining WWE superstars of all time. He rose to prominence as part of The New Day faction and continues to represent the group alongside Kofi Kingston as part of the Monday Night RAW roster today.

However, it has been noticed on television programming for weeks that Xavier Woods has been channeling his aggressive side. This led to multiple arguments with his own partner, Kofi Kingston and losing matches in the process.

Following the events of last week’s RAW, where he took out his frustrations on Rey Mysterio, here are the top four directions for Xavier Woods moving forward:

4. Feud with Kofi Kingston

Tensions and cracks prevailing among the current members of The New Day, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, have been on full display for weeks. This had led to heated talks, multiple losses in matches and Woods becoming more aggressive each week. WWE could pull the trigger on his heel turn to give him a new direction and begin a feud with Kofi Kingston, a rivalry many had never thought they would see in the modern era.

3. Join Judgment Day

The new Judgment Day has been made of members who betrayed their allies to form a powerful unit. Should Xavier Woods turn heel, he could leave Kofi Kingston’s side and join their ranks. This would allow Woods to display a new side of his personality, resort to underhanded tactics and become a full-fledged heel in WWE moving forward.

2. New Alliance with Karrion Kross

The first signs of Xavier Woods turning away from his happy-goofy personality were seen during New Day’s feud with Karrion Kross and his group, The Final Testament. While WWE dropped the storyline for now, Xavier Woods turning heel could lead him to team up with Karrion Kross as a dark tag team. Woods could see this opportunity to push his career further amidst his continuous failure teaming up with Kofi Kingston recently.

1. Singles title pursuit

A major point of Xavier Woods’ ongoing frustrations has been his failure to win a singles WWE Championship like his New Day cohorts, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Should Woods split from Kingston, he could begin his pursuit of a singles title using a new and aggressive side. Woods, with his new personality, can rise to the top and claim his first title to begin a new run for him in WWE.
