The Scottish Warrior suffered defeat in the debut episode

‘The Scottish Warrior’ Drew McIntyre locked horns with Jey Uso in a grudge match on the debut episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix which emanated on January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

McIntyre is on a quest to take out every member of the OG Bloodline and Jey was his second target after Sami Zayn. McIntyre attacked Sami Zayn and Jey Uso in his return last month setting up a clash against him and Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 15, 2024.

McIntyre was undefeated against Zayn and kept his streak going as he defeated Sami and shifted his focus on taking out Jey. However, Drew’s conquest of taking out every member of the OG Bloodline faction came to a screeching halt at Raw Netflix’s debut.

Despite controlling the majority of the action, Jey was able to roll the Scottish Warrior up for a three count. Jey shattered McIntyre’s perfect unbeaten record against him and picked up his first win against the Scottish Warrior.

Drew McIntyre is focused on taking out the people that have wronged him

In a recent appearance at the Babyfaces Podcast, McIntyre discussed the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE, the historic debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, and getting revenge on the OG Bloodline.

During the conversation, the Scottish Warrior was asked about his plans for this year’s WrestleMania and winning the title and keeping it for a long time.

McIntyre stated that winning the World title at the grandest stage is the ‘ultimate goal’ but right now he has very specific goals in his mind. “My immediate focus is not the titles, you know I win the Rumble, Okay! I Can pick whatever champion I want, it’s not a priority right now!”

The Scottish Warrior then revealed that his current focus is taking out everyone who has wronged him, which is the OG Bloodline. He further revealed the real reason behind the loss last week stating that he had, ‘contact high’.

“I’m focused on taking out the people that have wronged me, which is the members of the OG Bloodline, I made it very clear, I’m targeting right now whatever happened overall last week, LA was not an excuse, contact high – had me distracted. Jey (Uso) got a quick roll up, I beat him 10 time on TV before he beat me one time with a fluke win,” McIntyre stated.

McIntyre was referring to hip-hop star Travis Scott who accompanied Jey Uso during his entrance. Scott was smoking a joint during the entrance at the Intuit Dome last week.

The loss last week will irk McIntyre even more and he will likely either demand a rematch or ambush Jey Uso on tonight’s episode sending a message to the rest of the OG Bloodline.

Do you think Jey Uso’s win over Drew McIntyre was a fluke? How will the Scottish Warrior react to the humiliating loss? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
