[Watch] Drew McIntyre trolls Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney during WWE UK live event

Drew McIntyre is one of the highly talented professional wrestlers in the current WWE roster. The Scottish Warrior played a major role in the upliftment of WWE during the COVID19 Pandemic era. He carried the company solely on his shoulders, when no major stars appeared for the show due to travel restrictions. He had two WWE Championship reigns during the time and made the worst year into one of the greatest years for him.
Although was the hero during the pandemic, he never got a chance to hold the championship in the company thereafter, especially in front of the live crowd. McIntyre after a long wait saved his own career by turning heel. This made him step himself up into the top card placing himself among some of the best wrestlers in the company. Drew’s current heel turn is more entertaining, where he trolls his opponents. McIntyre’s sarcastic talk has reached a point where he went on to tease England’s own Football Legend.
Drew McIntyre trolls Wayne Rooney
During the latest WWE Live House Show in London, Drew McIntyre took a shot at Manchester United Legend, Wayne Rooney. McIntyre said that both are of the same age, but Rooney looks more older in appearance, asking what happened to him.
After retiring from the football career as a player, he transformed into a manager, changing his looks and physique. Drew posted the video on X, quoting the same.
Drew McIntyre said, “Aren’t we the same age? What the hell happened to you fella?”
Rooney took it in a sportive way and laughed at McIntyre’s troll. McIntyre after the trash talking, faced Jey Uso and lost the match. It is reported that McIntyre lost multiple matches to Jey Uso at WWE Live Event in the UK.
It seems like no one could escape from getting trolled by The Scottish Warrior. McIntyre in recent times has been more entertaining as a heel, who digs shots trolling his opponents both on screen, off screens in the live events and on his social media.
McIntyre is currently in a feud with CM Punk, although Punk is injured and is in rehabilitation. The feud is currently edging to a whole new level after Punk ended McIntyre’s World Championship reign in just minutes, by paving the way for Priest to cash-in his MITB contract.
