Dustin Rhodes teases WWE return to help Cody Rhodes finish his story at WrestleMania 40

Cody Rhodes has been on a mission to finish his story, by becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since his return to WWE in 2022.

The American Nightmare was so close to finishing his story last year at WrestleMania 39 but failed due to The Bloodline’s interference. Cody after a number of twists and turns has the opportunity to finish the story this time, however the Bloodline is stronger than before, by the addition of The Rock.

Cody now has to face Roman Reigns and The Rock at WrestleMania Night 1, teaming up with Seth Rollins, to decide the match rules for night 2, making it a bigger task. Cody already experienced a promo of what could happen on WrestleMania 40, as The Final Boss (Rock) punished him brutally. The feud has become personal involving both the families.

With just a week away from WrestleMania 40, fans wonder if they could see Dustin Rhodes at WrestleMania to help his brother Cody to finish his story. Dustin has now addressed the situation and teased a potential involvement.

Dustin to return and help Cody Rhodes?

Dustin Rhodes on X wrote that he has been in the wrestling industry for 36 years and he is still natural and said about being in the Superstardom with patience and a lot of hard work.

In the comments, a fan commented saying that he should be a part of Cody Rhodes and his storyline. The fan said, “I know you’re probably tired of hearing it, but damn, wish you were part of this story. Rock has his whole bloodline, Cody has Seth ugh”. He also shared a picture of Cody asking, “I need my older brother” during their reunion at AEW.

The tweet made a huge gossip on the internet that Dustin is potentially teasing returning to WWE to be a part of Cody’s story.

It is unknown whether Dustin Rhodes will be showing up in WWE, despite being under AEW contract. However, we could say that he will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during WrestleMania week for The Dusty Rhodes Foundation’s WrestleCon, which is scheduled to be held from April 4, 2024 to April 7, 2024, simultaneously during WrestleMania 40. WrestleCon also will have the custom made “Mama Rhodes- Mother of a Nightmare” merchandise for sale.
