One of his earliest rivals John Cena after his debut in the promotion was the Latino Heat. Cena and Guerrero’s feud culminated in a Latino Street Fight or Parking Lot Brawl. The two stars were surrounded by members of the roster and automobiles.
The two legends put on a very entertaining brawl on the September 11, 2003 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Guerrero’s United States Championship was on the line for this match. Guerrero won the match as he hit Cena with a frog splash on the hood of a car.

Despite the promotion’s initial hesitation due to Eddie’s short stature, they booked him against The Beast for No Way Out 2004.
Eddie’s performance against Lesnar at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California proved his abilities as despite his size he was able to tame the Beast. With a pivotal assist from Goldberg, Eddie hit an energetic frog splash and finally won the WWE Championship for the first time.
The emotional celebration after the match is widely regarded as one of the happiest endings to a wrestling pay-per-view ever in history.
