The 11/06 episode of WWE NXT featured ECW legends!
Due to the U.S. presidential elections on November 5, WWE NXT aired the live episode on Wednesday, November 6, from the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, also known as the ECW Arena. WWE unveiled an exciting lineup of matches and segments for the show, featuring an ECW-themed twist.
In last week’s episode, WWE NXT Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey and NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom successfully retained their titles. At the same time, Zaria debuted in an impressive showing.
Please learn what happened on this week’s WWE NXT, as we come out with the complete summary of the show.
Jaida Parker vs Lola Vice (Hardcore Match)
Lola Vice and Jaida Parker clashed in a hardcore match, following an announcement from WWE NXT General Manager Ava during Halloween Havoc. Ava also revealed that legendary ECW manager Dawn Marie will be the special guest referee for this match.
Parker was in control during the fight as Vice tried to fight back and was successful to some extent but was overpowered by Parker. Parker secured the win via pinfall in the first match of the episode.
Wes Lee vs Je’Von Evans
Former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee locked horns against Je’Von Evans in the second match of the special episode from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
Lee was looking to put some serious beating on Evans with a steel chair but ECW legend Rob Van Dam arrived to save Evans. This distraction helped Evans to bag the win as he landed a springboard cutter and Five Star Frog Splash on Lee. Evans picked up the win via pinfall.
Trick Williams and Bubba Ray Dudley vs Ethan Page and Ridge Holland
ECW legend Bubba Ray Dudley returned to NXT after intervening to prevent Trick Williams from being overwhelmed by Page and Holland during Halloween Havoc. Though Bubba initially declined to join Trick in fighting off the duo, a later confrontation led him to reconsider, ultimately setting up this high-stakes tag team match for the NXT special.
Despite the ECW legend in his corner the NXT Champion Trick Williams failed to secure the win as Holland managed to roll up the NXT champion for a surprise three-count to pick up the win.
North American Title: Tony D’Angelo vs Nunzio
NXT North American Champion, Tony D’Angelo took on ECW & WWE veteran Nunzio as D’Angelo’s title was on the line for the fourth match of the special episode.
The Champion put on a masterclass as he defeated Nunzio by pinfall to retain the NXT North American Title. Nunzio was outmatched against D’Angelo as he added another successful title defense to his resume. The two stars shook hands afterward as Nunzio and D’Angelo embraced after the match.
10-Woman Tag Team Match
The team of Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, and Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx) took on the team of Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Kelani Jordan, and Jordynne Grace in a 10-Woman Tag Team Match in the main event of the episode.
