You won’t believe what this WWE star has to say
The road to WrestleMania 41 was nothing short of historic and chaotic, thanks in large part to the shocking heel turn of John Cena. But what ignited it all was a single, chilling signal from none other than The Rock at the 2025 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event.
Together with rapper Travis Scott, the Final Boss and the Leader of the Cenation unleashed a brutal assault on Cody Rhodes that changed the landscape of WWE forever.
But while John Cena stuck around, defeated Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to capture a record-breaking 17th World Championship, and successfully defended it against Randy Orton at Backlash, The Rock completely vanished. He didn’t appear at WrestleMania 41. He didn’t show up the night after. It left fans asking:
Where is The Rock? And when will we finally see him face the monster he created, John Cena? Well, we may finally have our answer.
On a recent episode of The Coach and Bro Show, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman revealed some major backstage news that has fans buzzing. According to Coachman, a very reliable source within WWE told him that we won’t have to wait too much longer to see Cena and The Rock in the same ring again.
“On top of that, I have it on good authority—who haven’t we [sic] seen? Who’s been taking all of the stray bullets when it comes to, ‘Oh, you threw Triple H under the bus. You’re nowhere to be found.’ Who is that? The Rock,” Coachman said.
“And I have it on good authority that Cena and The Rock will cross paths in one way or another by the end of the summer.”
Time for John Cena to turn on The Rock?
The Rock may have intentionally sat out WrestleMania 41 to avoid overshadowing the John Cena vs Cody Rhodes spectacle, but make no mistake, he was pulling the strings.
He created the dark side version of John Cena, but at Backlash, we saw glimpses of what could be a future face turn for the 17-time World Champion. If Cena turns face, a confrontation between these two megastars will be inevitable and also absolutely necessary.
Whether it happens on an episode of RAW, a surprise return on SmackDown, or builds toward a blockbuster showdown at SummerSlam or even Survivor Series, one thing is clear: The Rock vs John Cena II, this time as allies or enemies, is on the horizon and if Coachman’s insider tip proves true, the WWE Universe is in for a summer they won’t soon forget.
