First look at WWE SummerSlam 2026 stage & set build in Minneapolis

Minneapolis will host the 2026 edition of SummerSlam.
The 39th edition of SummerSlam will air as a two-night spectacle on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, 2026, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’ will feature a total of 12 matches spread across the two nights.
As WWE gears up to deliver the go-home show of Friday Night SmackDown before the PLE, a new update regarding the stage construction for SummerSlam at the U.S. Bank Stadium has surfaced. So, let’s have a look at it as WWE gears up for ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer.’
WWE takes over U.S Bank Stadium this weekend
The update for the SummerSlam stage reveals the massive led screens around the entrance, while square lighting truss with spotlights are being tested before it’s suspended. Construction equipments are also visible in the image
Notably the arena doesn’t feature a wrestling ring yet. The ring hasn’t been set up, suggesting this is still an early phase of construction as SummerSlam approaches. Most of the seating arrangements looks to be complete, but the setup still looks to be in the early-to-mid stages of construction.

- Roman Reigns (c) vs Seth Rollins – WWE World Heavyweight Title match
- Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton vs Chelsea Green vs Charlotte Flair vs TBD – Interim WWE Women’s title Ladder match
- Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn – #1 Contender’s match for the Undisputed WWE Title
- Danhausen vs Dominik Mysterio – Human Monies on a Pole match (Winner keeps the US$100,000 Danhausen stole from The Judgment Day)
- Trick Williams (c) vs Baron Corbin – WWE United States Title match
- Penta (c) vs Chad Gable – WWE Intercontinental Title match
