Mike Tyson is set to face Jake Paul on November 15, 2024

Boxing legend Mike Tyson was originally scheduled to fight former YouTube star Jake Paul on July 20 but was postponed after the boxing legend experienced a health scare in May. Due to an ulcer flare-up, he was advised by medical professionals to rest and refrain from training.

The fight is now rescheduled for Friday, November 15, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA. The fight between the two will be streamed live on Netflix at 8 PM ET.

The former champion retired in 2005 but has continued to fight in exhibition matches. Tyson’s last fight was an exhibition match against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr. on November 28, 2020.

A rematch between the Irish boxing sensation Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano is the co-main event of the evening in Texas. Their first fight in 2022 was the first women’s boxing match to headline Madison Square Garden. Taylor defeated Serrano by split decision.

Former WWE star Bobby Lashley has claimed about receiving an offer to fight Mike Tyson

Former WWE champion Bobby Lashley recently stated that he once had the opportunity to fight the boxing legend several months ago. The two-time World Champion is currently a free agent.

Lashley‘s contact with the WWE expired earlier this year. He has stated his plans to have a boxing match in Las Vegas. However, the opponent for the fight hasn’t been named yet.

During a recent K&S WrestleFest signing, Lashley stated, “I was offered a Mike Tyson fight also. I was offered Mike Tyson several months back. I was like, ‘Hmm, that would be a good fight.’

People asked me the same question, ‘Can I beat Mike Tyson?’ I’m not going to say, ‘Oh yeah, I can beat Mike Tyson,’ but I would like to do the fight. That’s what it’s all about to me. As a competitor, as a fighter, I’m going to take a fight that comes my way. If it makes sense, I’ll do it,” he further added.

Lashley further also said that he has wrestling offers and stated that he has a lot left in the tank, “I have a few wrestling offers on the table. I have a few boxing matches, MMA matches, a lot of stuff on the table.”

Lashley had not been competing in the WWE ring since the April 12th episode of WWE SmackDown. While his last in-ring performance was during a WWE live event in France on May 5th.
