Cody Rhodes is teaming up with Reigns at Bad Blood 2024
Cody Rhodes since coming to WWE made many friends, also many enemies who turned to become his friends. But with the continuing WWE storyline for Cody Rhodes, it seems inevitable that he might have any friends left.
Roman almost four Roman Reigns & The Bloodline ruled over WWE. At WrestleMania 39 Cody Rhodes, got his chance to face the Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Championship. But he failed due to intervention by The Bloodline.
But a year later Cody Rhodes found some allies who helped them take The Bloodline rule to help him win the championship at WrestleMania 40.
But as WWE Bad Blood 2024 comes near it seems like Cody Rhodes has started losing over his friends. Cody Rhodes might be betrayed by two of his closest friends following WWE Bad Blood. Unfortunately, Rhodes himself may be to blame for his collapse in this case.
Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens have made more attempts to end the Bloodline in the last four years than anybody else. However, The Viper and KO may soon turn on Rhodes and assault him following Bad Blood.
In the past week on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu challenged Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to a tag team battle at Bad Blood. Initially, Roman Reigns was prepared to confront The Bloodline members alone since the Undisputed WWE Champion was uninterested. However, by the end of the night, the erstwhile enemies stamped the contract to face the Bloodline.
But these developments could make him lose his friends. Last week on WWE SmackDown clear tensions were visible on Randy Orton & Kevin Owens‘s faces after what they had to go through with The Bloodline taking over the company.
Kevin Owens competed for the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes at Bash in Berlin last month but was unable to win. While that contest appeared to be a one-off, it may not have been.
If Orton and Owens attack Rhodes after WWE Bad Blood, it may mark the beginning of two new storylines. It might begin with Cody and Kevin wrestling for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the coming months.
Moving forward, the months leading up to WrestleMania 41 might see Rhodes defend his championship against Randy Orton. The Viper is on a hunt for his 15th World Championship, and a match against Rhodes on SmackDown following Bad Blood may be the ideal way to continue.
Also, there is a potential chance of Seth Rollins, Jey Uso & Sami Zayn turning their back on Cody Rhodes looking at the history every man had with Roman Reigns.
Once these two potential rivalries are over, Rhodes might advance to the WrestleMania 41 main event. He might defend his championship against Roman Reigns to finish the trilogy or against The Rock. But, in the end, he might lose all his allies.
