Only one Indian wrestler has more followers than Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has defeated many, but not the true social media megastar, The Great Khali. Roman Reigns has emerged as WWEâs biggest superstar of the current era. Prior to the reign of a Tribal Chief, a towering presence from India captivated the WWE Universe.
He was none other than the Great Khali. While he is no longer an active combatant in the promotion, he has more social media followers than WWEâs top star, Roman Reigns.
A shocking fact was recently shared on social media. Roman Reignsâ renown and popularity grew over the course of 13 years as an active WWE performer, bringing him close to 10 million Instagram followers.
On the other side, The Great Khali, who has received a lot of attention for his social media antics in recent years, outperformed âThe OTCâ.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has an amazing 11.6 million Instagram followers. Despite no longer wrestling, he outscored the 1,316-day reigning Undisputed WWE Champion on social media by over 2 million followers. Khali has made the most of his social media presence, putting him ahead of The Bloodlineâs most successful WWE star in the current age.
Roman Reignsâ was last seen on RAW following WrestleMania 41. He walked down to the ring to get revenge on his long-time enemy and former Shield brother, Seth Rollins.
The Visionary was instrumental in corrupting Reignsâ Wiseman, Paul Heyman, who betrayed him at WrestleMania to join Rollins. However, he and CM Punk were brutally assaulted at the end of the show by their new ally, Bron Breakker.
CM Punk returned two weeks later, but Reigns has yet to return. It has been reported that he may return in June. Furthermore, with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker welcoming back Bronson Reed to their ranks at WWE Saturday Nightâs Main Event. The OTCs could return to join Punk and Sami Zayn looking to exact revenge.
