The injury was likely the result of the mic shot by Nia Jax, who then followed it up with a leg drop, while Legend took down Brie and then laid out Brie with the Lash Extension.
Despite the injury, the former Divas Champion was able to finish the segment and remained in good spirits afterward. While she required stitches to close the wound, the incident is expected to intensify the feud even further, with Paige likely using the accidental injury to make the rivalry feel more personal and chaotic.
Jax and Legend dropped the Tag Team titles to the duo in a Fatal Four-way match at WrestleMania, where Paige made her surprising return to replace Nikki Bella in the match as she was not medically cleared to compete.
