Is Bron Breakker 'The Next Big Thing' in WWE? Fans draw comparisons to Brock Lesnar

Bron Breakker is one of the young, talented and upcoming WWE Superstar, who is currently on the Raw roster. He had an impressive run in NXT, where he was the former NXT Champion and the NXT Tag Team Champion. He was the face of the black and yellow brand for so long and has put on some great matches. 

Breakker made his main roster debut at Royal Rumble 2024, where he entered the men’s Royal Rumble match as a replacement for Brock Lesnar and did the exact thing, what Lesnar was supposed to do at the night. He was praised for his work by the veterans of the business, as most claimed that he was the future of the company.

All the veteran’s praisings made him make his way to the main roster, first signing to SmackDown and now moved to Raw as a part of the 2024 Draft. Most of them see a lot of Brock Lesnar in him. Is Bron Breakker “The Next Big Thing” in WWE? Here we compare the similarities.

Is Bron Breakker The Next Big Thing?

Ever since Bron Breakker made his main roster debut, he has been squashing his opponents within a few minutes. Breaker is seen as one of the budding babyfaces, while working on SmackDown. However, when moving to Raw, he soon transformed his character into a heel and started destroying everyone on the roster, similar to how Brock Lesnar did it in 2002 during his WWE debut.

Breakker weeks ago on his Raw debut match after Draft, almost killed a rookie, Kayle Dixon, by breaking him in half with three vicious spears and a chair to the head, sandwiching his head to the steel steps. Breaker made his intentions clear that it is a consequence of Adam Pearce’s decision of not adding him in the King of the Ring tournament. Breakker didn’t stop then and went on to attack Ricochet backstage, spearing him across the boxes and coming the week after to spear Ricochet and Dragunov inside the ring.

The Ego which drives Breakker is quite similar to Brock Lesnar’s ego, which when triggered would wreck almost all the members of the roster. All these booking lines make it clear that WWE sees Bron Breakker as the next Brock Lesnar in the company.
