Chad Gable became victim to Uncle Howdy’s Wyatt Sick6 attack on 6/17 Raw
Chad Gable had a rough Clash at the Castle weekend, where he lost his Intercontinental Championship at the PLE, which is believed to be his last Intercontinental Championship title shot. Gable on Raw was hesitated by Pearce to get another title shot and asked to stand back of the line. He had a loss against Braun Strowman and Alpha Academy left Gable after they became victims of bullying for months.
The only hope Gable had was the Money in the Bank Qualifying match, where he is scheduled to face Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed next week. Gable had intentions to win the MITB briefcase, however during the end of RAW, he got attacked by the debuting Uncle Howdy’s faction and was reported that he was pulled from his scheduled match on WWE Raw. Here we take a look at Gable’s status on whether he is cleared to compete on Raw or not.
Chad Gable’s status after Wyatt Sick6 attack
Chad Gable got brutally assaulted by Uncle Howdy’s Wyatt Sicks faction backstage segment on Raw, where he was laid unconscious with the blood being busted open on his head.
Following the attack, WWE announced that Gable was pulled from the Money in the Bank ladder match and replaced him with Ilja Dragunov. However the Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, ahead of 6/21 SmackDown announced that despite the attack by Wyatt Sicks, Chad Gable is medically cleared to compete and he is reinstated into the Money in the Bank Qualifying match in the upcoming (June 24, 2024) episode of Raw.
Adam Pearce said,
“Chad Gable, everyone saw the heinous attack last week. Despite that attack, despite being severely shaken up, Chad Gable is medically cleared and will compete this Monday in a triple threat qualifying match for the Money in the Bank ladder match against Braun Strowman and Big Bronson Reed. Again, the breaking news, in a huge display of guts, Chad Gable will compete with the winner going on to Toronto and the Money in the Bank ladder match. It happens this Monday live in Indianapolis on Monday Night Raw.”
