Charlotte Flair teases feud with NXT Champion Roxanne Perez!

Charlotte Flair is one of the greatest and highly successful professional wrestlers of all time. She is the fourteen-time world champion in WWE and is the fourth women’s grand slam champion of the company.

Flair is currently on a long hiatus due to multiple leg injuries and has been sidelined from WWE TV since December 2023. She is on her recovery period and there is no update on when she will return to in-ring action. However, a top NXT star called her out and Flair responded by teasing a potential match in the future.

Roxanne Perez vows to break Charlotte Flair’s records

Roxanne Perez on the 7/16 episode of WWE NXT claimed that she was not given enough respect that she deserved. She addressed her win over Lola Vice and said that even though Vice lost her match, she got a standing ovation, but Perez was disrespected. 

Perez said that the NXT Universe doesn’t deserve the once-in-a-lifetime talent like her. She is just 22, but is ahead of all the members in the roster, although she is not in her prime. Perez claimed that she is not competing with anyone in the locker room, but is competing with the history books. 

While talking about history, Perez mentioned Charlotte Flair’s first ever TV match which took place 13 years ago. In 13 years, she became a 14-time world champion and a future hall of fame. However, Roxanne claimed that she would be breaking all of her records, including Bayley, Asuka and Rhea Ripley’s records.

Charlotte Flair’s response to Roxanne Perez

Following this week’s NXT, Charlotte Flair addressed Roxanne’s promo on her X/Twitter, claiming that she debuted 11 years ago and not 13. She said that she had the best fans and asked her to continue what she is doing so that they could meet in the ring someday.

Charlotte Flair wrote,
