‘The Best in the World’ faced off against AJ Styles and El Grande Americano in a triple threat clash
CM Punk may have walked away from this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW looking strong after saving Jey Uso and Sami Zayn from a post-match beatdown, but fans are left wondering whether ‘The Best in the World’ suffered a potential injury during his intense triple-threat Money In The Bank qualifier.
During the high-stakes match against AJ Styles and El Grande Americano, a pivotal moment occurred when Styles delivered a stiff Styles Clash, followed by a sharp kick that appeared to catch Punk square on the nose.
While the match ended with Americano securing a surprise win, thanks to a perfectly timed mid-air headbutt to counter Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm, the buzz afterward was all about Punk’s condition.
You’re a legend: CM Punk to AJ Styles
CM Punk later took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to AJ Styles, indirectly addressing the blow he took during the bout.

The image he posted hinted at a possible nose injury, sparking widespread speculation among fans. However, neither Punk nor WWE has issued an official statement confirming whether he suffered a broken nose or any other injury.
Despite the possible knock, Punk appeared later in the night to help even the odds during the tag team bout between Jey Uso & Sami Zayn and the powerhouse duo of Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed.
After Seth Rollins interfered in the tag match, hitting Uso with a blackout to cause a disqualification, Punk made a surprise run-in, wielding a steel chair and fending off Breakker and Reed. He also came face-to-face with Rollins, teasing a possible future clash.
The match itself had already delivered on drama. CM Punk, Styles, and Americano went toe-to-toe in a thrilling qualifier, each coming close to victory. Punk nearly won with a Go To Sleep, but Americano broke it up with an ankle lock counter. Moments later, it was Styles who took the upper hand before Americano swooped in for the win.
At this point, there’s no official confirmation about CM Punk’s injury status. His later appearance suggests he’s doing fine, but if it turns out to be a storyline cover or a delayed medical update, WWE may reveal more in the coming days.
Until then, it appears CM Punk will continue to play a key role on Monday Nights and possibly have a big showdown with Seth Rollins in the near future.
