According to recent reports, the former WWE Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon might make a return to the Stamford-based promotion after her resignation in 2023.

Stephanie was appointed chairwoman and co-CEO, alongside Nick Khan, in July 2022, after her father’s retirement. Vince McMahon had initially resigned as WWE CEO and chairman in July 2022 due to allegations involving hush-money agreements related to affairs with former WWE employees.

In 2023, WWE was merged with the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) to form TKO group by their parent company Endeavor Group Holdings in April. Vince later returned to serve as the executive chairman of the newly merged company, TKO Group Holdings (TKO).

After her father’s return to the company as executive chairman, Stephanie resigned as Co-CEO of WWE and left the company on January 10, 2023.

Stephanie McMahon has made multiple appearances at WWE events

Vince McMahon later resigned from his position at TKO Group in January 2024 following allegations of trafficking and assault. Since her father’s exit, many have been wondering if Stephanie would make a return back to the promotion.

She has also attended several recent WWE events, including WrestleMania 40 and SummerSlam 2024. According to Triple H, she didn’t have an official role at the time, but her love for WWE remained strong, and her presence was welcomed by both him and the talent.

Stephanie has also been spotted recently at UFC 309 in Madison Square Garden alongside her husband and WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.

Her recent appearances have fueled speculation about her potential comeback to the promotion. However, according to recent reports from PWInsider Elite, Stephanie still does not have an official role in the Stamford-based promotion.

The fact that she’s been regularly spotted at WWE Headquarters implies that she might be on the verge of rejoining the WWE universe or has an unofficial behind-the-scenes role within the company.
