Is Stephanie McMahon returning to WWE? Exploring the possibilities

Stephanie McMahon, daughter of Vince K. McMahon was a major part of WWE for several years and has a big hand in some of the biggest revolutions in the company. However she resigned from her role of Co-CEO last year and has not been involved in WWE’s decisions.
With Vince McMahon resigning from his positions after trafficking allegations, there have been a number of rumours that the Boss Lady will return to WWE and take over the company on behalf of his father. However, a WWE Legend has now spoken about the possibility of Stephanie McMahon’s WWE return.
Dutch Mantell on Stephanie McMahon’s potential return
Dutch Mantell on Storytime with Dutch Mantell spoke about the possibility of Stephanie McMahon returning to WWE. Mantell believes that the Queen won’t be returning to WWE. He says that Triple H is the last one to stand, but if the business doesn’t go well, Triple H too will not survive. However the business is going well with the timing and he feels like The Rock is overwriting him.
Dutch Mantell said,
“I don’t think so [On if Stephanie McMahon will ever return to WWE]. I think she’s gone. Vince [McMahon] is definitely gone. And I think Triple H is the last of that breed…If the business wasn’t doing good, I don’t think Triple H would have a future. But it’s doing really good now because when you think of the timing, bringing The Rock in at the time they brought him in and in the spot that they brought him in. He overwrites Triple H,”
However, when Vince McMahon resigned from his roles way back in January 2024, PWInsider reported that there was optimism within WWE that she could probably return, however said that the internal dynamics after the TKO merger are totally different and would be difficult for her.
