Is WWE moving their Performance Center to Las Vegas?

WWE making many changes going into the future
The WWE Performance Center will undergo significant changes, including being relocated to a different state in the country.
Since its inception in 2013, the WWE Performance Center has been a cutting-edge facility that has helped define the future of sports entertainment. The facility, located in Orlando, Florida, has seven training rings, strength and conditioning equipment, and a production center to assist potential stars in preparing for television.
According to WrestleVotes, the company’s training curriculum may undergo significant modifications as it relocates across the nation to Las Vegas, Nevada. The report states:
“According to a source there was an all-employee meeting today at WWE HQ in Stamford hosted by Mark Shapiro. I’m told the biggest news to come out of the meeting is that the WWE Performance Center will be moving to Las Vegas in the near future.”
Given that the Stamford-based company combined with UFC to become TKO Group in September, many believe this move is possible, considering UFC’s headquarters and facilities are in Las Vegas.
However, an update from Fightful Select contradicts the data from WrestleVotes. According to Fightful, one WWE insider swiftly responded that Mark Shapiro had not indicated that the PC was slated to relocate until the revelation occurred in another meeting, and other sources confirmed that no such statement had been made.
Meltzer then stated that others in WWE said Shapiro mentioned the rise of Las Vegas as a sports market in recent years and the need for a Stamford-based company to have a presence there, rather than stating that developmental was headed there.
No sources within the WWE PC were aware of any potential relocation to Las Vegas, and they were allegedly astonished when the WrestleVotes claim surfaced. According to sources, Orlando is an excellent site since it is close to many of the talent’s main roster wrestlers, and the cost of living for trainees is more reasonable in Orlando than in Vegas.
WWE previously established its Performance Center in Orlando in 2013. In recent years, it has also served as the location for NXT television tapings.
